Hey, I’m Danielle—Conductor of Creativity
here at Writers By Night Mission Control.

If you’ve ever tried to write a novel while working
full-time, juggling real life, and fighting off self-doubt
with snacks… we probably have a lot in common.

See if this sounds familiar:

Work all day.
Think about writing.
Don’t write.
Feel bad.
Repeat.

I literally had “Write book” on my to-do list. For YEARS.

Not because I didn’t care. Or didn’t try.
But because most of the writing advice I found made it feel like I was the problem.

Like I just needed to “want it more.”
Like I needed to follow their rules.
Like I had to change who I was to get it done.

But I didn’t need to become someone else.

I didn’t need more pressure. I needed a system that could survive real life.

Something flexible. Strategic. Human.

That’s what pulled me back to the page—and eventually, into this secret writing world.

Before Writers By Night, I was an editor. I helped other writers find their structure, sharpen their scenes, polish their stories. I loved the work… but I couldn’t ignore what I kept seeing:

Brilliant, imaginative writers getting crushed under rigid formulas.

Voice after voice squeezed into someone else’s mold.

And when the process didn’t work? Writers blamed themselves.

I couldn’t unsee it.

So I started building something different—part craft, part mindset, part rebellion. Something that worked with the way real writers think, struggle, dream, and draft.

And then Scribble scampered out of the shadows… and Writers By Night took shape.

These days, I’m still in the field—dodging the Productivity Police, sidestepping the Council of Doom, and reworking my own messy drafts. But I’ve built tools that work with how real writers actually work—and now I get to pass that intel on to you.

Not to fix you.

To back you up.

Because you don’t need to write like someone else.

You need a way forward that starts with your strengths.

That’s what we’re building here.

Welcome to Writers By Night.
Let’s write like it matters.
